Many people feel frustrated because ChatGPT and similar chatbots don't provide them with good answers, and by the time they edit the response, they could have written everything themselves...

I totally understand. It used to happen to me too, before I developed the skill to "speak" correctly with the machine.

And to improve your results by at least 50%, here is a 4-step model I always use in every prompt I write.

If you follow it, your results will be nothing short of excellent:

1️⃣ Context: Artificial intelligence has no idea who you are and what you want.

And for the simple reason that it is trained on almost all the information on the internet -

If you don't provide it with a broad context that includes all the background to your request, the chance of getting a suitable result significantly decreases.

Out of the entire model I'm presenting, this step is the most critical!

The more you invest in writing a comprehensive prompt that includes the background of the request - the more accurate the result you will get, and you will hardly need to engage in edits.

2️⃣ Writing Style and Persona:

ChatGPT and similar AI systems can write in any language and style we want, and even mimic a specific persona like a well-known politician, a businessman, and so on.

After providing the context, clarify to the AI in what writing style you want the answer (professional, funny, witty, tired, etc.) and from the perspective of which persona (a marketing person, from the customer's eyes, a psychologist, etc.).

Of course, you can also give a specific name (write it to me in the style of Steve Jobs)

3️⃣ The Specific Request:

It seems self-evident, but sometimes we forget to explicitly ask for what we want. Examples: Draft me a letter to the insurance company / Write me an email to the airline / Give me 10 creative ideas for names in English, and so forth.

4️⃣ Format: How would you like to receive the answer? In a table? A paragraph? Bullets? Short lines? Headlines and subheadings? I always recommend telling the chat also the desired format.

In Summary...

Context -> Writing Style and Persona -> Specific Request -> Format

If you do this, you'll see how the chat's answers improve significantly,

and suddenly, you're actually able to create texts, letters, emails, and requests in less than half the time.
